Why do antidepressants make depressed people commit suicide?



Sometimes suicide happens when people begin antidepressants because they actually feel an upsurge of energy,
which allows them to act on suicidal thoughts and feelings which might have been lingering prior to taking the meds. Some depressed folks are too despondent and hopeless to actually act on their suicidal thoughts and the tiny boost that the meds give them can push them into action.
